Troppau Roots
This blog serves to make info, photos, history accessible to relatives and friends in regard to our old homeland in Sudetenland. The information shows that our roots go way back to the 17th century at least. Our family tree involves Strasilla, Holaschke, Jaschek, Breyer etc. The info may serve relatives to find locations in and around Troppau which touched our families. It should serve as a reminder that we will never forget our roots.

I read your blog about „Komorau: Jaschekmuehle (Udo's great grandfather & his property)“. But I can't find the pictures in the slide-show!?
My father lived at that mill during war, when they hat to leave Troppau. My Grandfather was working there, as Germans were allowed to work only outside (under open sky).
I would love to show my father pictures or to give him any further information.
